Outside Popsicles

My husband is of the opinion that ice cream is an "outdoor activity."  In other words, you should enjoy ice cream at an ice cream shop, rather than in the comfort of your own home.  I think he's totally crazy - ice cream is good anywhere, anytime!  However, I heard about The Dairy Godmother's fancy new ice pops, and naturally, I had to give them a try.  We went last Sunday, and I tried the Hibiscus flavor.  It was delicious!

More homemade pops to come soon!

A Menagerie of Ice Pops

Do not fear - the hiatus in my blog posting was not due to a hiatus in ice pop making!  After being harassed over the weekend for being a negligent blogger, I have three kinds of ice pops to share with you today.  First up, modeled by my sister, is pink lemonade with muddled raspberry.

Next up, I made several iterations of striped popsicles from lemonade and raspberry lemonade.  These are super-easy and look really cool (also, they're DELICIOUS).

And finally, tonight's creation!  I food processed frozen raspberries, frozen pineapple and coconut water.  This created a sherbet-like consistency, which you can see in the creamy texture.  I only tasted the mixture, but it definitely seems like a winner!
